Halloween 2008!!

We had such a fun halloween this year. It took Jarrett and Isabelle forever to finally decide what they wanted to be, but when they did they were good costumes. Jarrett and Isabelle got to do their hair crazy for school. Jarrett wore his in a mohawk and Isabelle had 11 ponytails in her hair. The minute they got home from school they were bugging us to get ready. Our neighbhorhood does the trunk-or-treat which Ben, the kids and I don't really like so we went to Mantua to my mom's to do the traditional trick-or-treating. The weather was the warmest I think I ever remember. We usually have frigid temperatures with snow on the ground. This year we were in jackets or sweatshirts extremely pleasant. McGregor loved trick-or-treating. He literally ran from house to house. We loved listening to his little voice say trick or treat. Isabelle has been so excited for Halloween. She didn't sleep well the night before and was up before dawn, so she wore down pretty fast when the trick-or-treating time finally came. I enjoyed watching our kids so much this year. I loved watching them run from house to house and get so excited when the doors opened and there was that blessed candy. I watched Jarrett this year knowing the year is fast approaching that he will want to be with his friends instead of his mommy and daddy. Ben and I treasure all the time we get to spend with our little family. We love the memories that we are making. We finally had a Halloween when we had no one crying. We ate Navajo tacos at Grandma in the Mountains and came back to Tremonton to get Carmel apples from Grandpa Curtis and Grandma Nancy. It was a great Halloween. More good news, Ben went and interviewed with ATK for a job. He feels pretty good about it. There is 2 job openings, but there have been 80 applicants. So we are praying he gets it. We never thought we would be excited for ATK, but we are. Another thing, I know people will think I am crazy, but yes I am going to start playing Christmas music on our blog. I am a Christmas baby and can't wait another minute to listen to it. I figure I did good I waited until after Halloween. If I could have found a cute Christmas background, that would be up to. Anyway, it is such an awesome time of year why not enjoy the feeling of Christmas a little longer this year.

Your kids are too cute. I am so happy it was warm for them. Then you actually get to see the costumes instead of coats.

Love the pictures at the bottom of your blog.
