I don't even know the last time I posted to our blog. Alot has been going on this month. Amazing things have happened to our family that has made this holiday one that will never be forgotton. Many of you know that Ben has been without a job for some time. We didn't actually know how we were going to do Christmas this year, but there are amazing and generous people in our lives. We don't know who these people are, but they have made our Christmas the best. I wish I could tell theses people how thankful I am for them and to tell them thank you. Ben and I have truly felt the Christmas spirit this year. We started the month out stressed and sad. Now we feel humbled and grateful for all we have and for our family and friends. We are truly blessed. Yesterday Ben started a new job at ATK. He is happy with his job and thinks it will be a great one. Everything that has happened this month wouldn't have been possible without people who care for us and listen to the spirit. Thank you so so much. You have touched our lives and hearts. This Christmas has changed our lives.
December is always a busy with Christmas activities, and birthday's. We had a great week last week, Jandi and her family came from Virginia. We loved seeing them and spending our weekend with them. Jarrett and Mason are the bestest friends. They are three weeks apart and have been best buds since they were babies. I love getting them together and seeing how much they have grown and changed, but they always stay close. It was fun to have Lee here also. We haven't been able to see him much the past few years with his busy medical school schedule. I love getting Ethan to smile. He has a very contagious smile. Little Lincoln what to say, but that it is so fun to get to know him. Boy does he love his uncle Daniel. Jandi is one of my greatest friends and how glad I am that we got to spend some time together this holiday. We had parties every night this weekend and we managed to go to Lava and get some sledding in. We had a ton of fun up there.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow and the shopping is done (thank goodness!!!). We wanted to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!!! We hope that everyone takes the time to remember that very first Christmas when we were given the most important gift ever, the birth of our Savior. Find time to be with family, reflect on life, and just enjoy this Christmas. Don't stress, nobody really needs that perfect gift. Christmas comes regardless. Hopefully we can take a little part of the spirit during this special season and incorporate it into our everyday. Merry Christmas!!!!
