Let's start with New Years! We had a lot of fun. New Year's day we had my family and Ben's over and we tubed and snowmobiled in the fields behind our house. As far as weather it wasn't the greatest, but the company was. I think everyone had a good day. We played in the snow, watched some football, played the Wii, and ate some Navajo's. It was a great way to start 2010. I was not sad to see 2009 gone. A few good things did happen last year: Jarrett's baptism, and the birth of Fletcher. I am not one to make new year's resolutions, but I have a few things that I want to work on and become better with this year. I want to become more physically fit and so far I have worked out everyday. I feel better and have more energy. I want to be a better mom and strengthen the relationship with my kids. I want me and Ben to continue to get stronger and possibly get to go on a few more dates this year together!
January has been a cold one. Lots of fog and haze. My kids have enjoyed the snow more this year than any other time. We have a little hill on the East corner of our yard that they love to take their sleds and go ride down. As far as me and Ben we would rather be somewhere sunny and warm with the ocean. We can dream can't we?
The kids had parent/teacher conference last week and both Jarrett and Isabelle are doing great. Jarrett has really improved this year. He loves times tables and is really good and fast at it. His teacher has helped him so much this year and I am so glad that he has her. Isabelle is just like her daddy, extremely smart. She is reading at a 7 year olds level and learning her 3rd grade sight words. Her teacher just keeps pushing her and Isabelle loves a challenge.
McGregor is growing up so much. He wants to be a big boy so bad! He is Jarrett's shadow whenever Jarrett is home. Fletcher is growing up so fast!! He will be 5 months old on the 1st and is weighing in somewhere around 16-17 lbs. He is so happy and such a good baby. He just loves his older siblings. Life keeps on going here in the lovely tree town and our family keeps getting older, so we will leave this post at that.

Sounds like a fun new years!! I hear ya about wanting to go somewhere warm. (Dr Terry told me today that tickets to FL are only $125 round trip! Doesn't that sound tempting!!?!!) Sounds like the kids are doing great! I love the "go on more dates" resolution-I'll have to tell Matt about that one ;)
Sounds like a lot of fun....much better than ours went!! That is so great about how well the kids are doing in school. We haven't even touched on times table yet....that's how terrible the school is out here. Reading the post sure makes me miss you guys more. I really wish we still lived there. Yes, Mac looks like Raphie.....so cute!! And Fletcher needs to be reminded that he is the baby...quit growing :) Take care!!!
