McGregor

Most of you know what has been going on in our family for the last 3 days, but some of you don't. I thought I would use my blog to update everyone on McGregor's status. Okay for those of you that don't know yet, McGregor was life flighted to Primary Childrens Saturday. He has been sick for awhile now and his poor little body was tired. He had two seizures Saturday with the second one lasting about 25 minutes. We called for the ambulance and he was taken to Bear River Hospital where they gave him valium among other drugs. When the valium hit his system thankfully it stopped the seizure, but it also stopped his breathing. It was then determined he needed to be air lifted to Primary's. He was taken directly to the PICU. McGregor has done many tests to determin what illness he is suffering from and what is causing his seizures. Nobody has an answer yet. Good news is he is out of PICU and he ate for the first time today. He is such a strong boy!!! He is a lot stronger than Ben and I. This has been one of the worst experiences of mine and Ben's lives. But we are so thankful for family!!! Thanks to all those who have been helping with Jarrett and Isabelle. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa McGregor!!! Our lives have been touched through this experience. We have had so much support through calls, text's, and visit's. We are so thankful for all that we have. Being down here you see so many that are worse off than you and how thankful we are for our sweet baby boy. Again thank you everyone for your support, love, and prayers. We love you all. I will post more when we know more.

I am so glad everything is okay now. I can't imagine how stressful these past few days have been for you guys. Dillon told me what was going on. I will keep up to date with your blog so I can see how things are going. I feel so terrible for little tiny McGregor. I can't imagine how exhausted he must be now. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow Nicki, I had no idea any of this had happened. How are you holding up and is there anything we can do? Reading this just made my stomach sick. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. I sure hope those doctors can diagnose what is going on - that's what they went to school for right? You know I'm a phone call away if you need something even if I do live in another state. We love ya and you will be in our prayers and thoughts.

Although I have been kept mostly up-to-date with your goings-on, I couldn't read your blog without getting a little teary. That pic of you kissing McGregor before he was taken away just rips my heart out! I am so glad he is feeling better, we just love that little guy!
