Update....

I thought I would do a little update on my Dad's situation. The hospital sent him home on Friday night. He is very weak and tired. His diagnosis is congestive heart failure. They said at Ogden Regional that he had a week left at best if we hadn't brought him in, University Hospital told my dad he would have died the next day if we had not got him there. So scary to think how close we came to loosing him. They say the best thing for him right now is rest. Which as everyone knows you don't get much of that in the hospital. Everyone asks me what happens now, and we have no idea. His heart needs to strengthen and that will take a lot of time. I don't think my Dad's heart will ever be as strong as it was, but hopefully we can get it stronger than it is. My Dad has had to endure a lot of trials with his illnesses he has had the last 9 years. A lot of people would have given up, but he is still fighting. Thanks to Jodi who dropped everything to come up and help me during this time. She came and stayed with the kids so I could go down and be with my dad and help my mom. I am so thankful for her. It was so nice to be able to leave and know my family was taken care of while I was gone. I am so thankful she is my mother-in-law and the grandma to my kids. She is an amazing person and I feel blessed to be part of her life. So as for my Dad I think we have a long rode ahead of us. I am so thankful he has my mom to help him through this. She is one of the strongest people I know. Hopefully she will let go a little and let us help. I am so thankful for my parents at this time, my siblings and their spouses, my kids, my in-laws, and for Ben. Thank you everyone for your concern for me, my family, and my dad.
