Basketball

Jarrett is playing for his school's 4th grade basketball team. He is doing so good, which doesn't surprise me because he loves sports. He practices twice a week and we have had 2 games so far with a lot more to go. Lost one and won one. It has been really good for Jarrett to do this and be involved. He is such a little athlete.

Other news: Yesterday was the year anniversary since my Dad had his heart pump put in. He celebrated by being in surgery once again getting a new pump. It has been a frustrating week and a half. My poor parents have been through so much. I think that has been the hardest part this time is that we didn't expect this so soon. My Dad is a trooper. Surgery yesterday, it ended up being a longer surgery than the first one. Today he is off the ventilator and sitting up in a chair. I know you probably don't think much of that, but it is a huge step. Next step is to get out of ICU. We weren't going to go to Utah for awhile but since all this happened we are going to travel with Ben next week up. Can't wait to see my family, I have missed them so much. It has been so hard to be away while all this is going on. Can't wait for next week:)
