We have been so busy especially last week. I was put in as the Primary President last November and it has been an amazing time for me. I have some wonderful counselors and an amazing secretary. I love the kids so much. We have something around 130 kids. Last Thursday while the adults in our ward went to the temple we did a temple activity with our Primary kids at the church next to the Temple. We started with pictures in front of the temple and then we split the kids into 4 groups. We had 4 different stations they visited. 1st station: They learned about Angel Moroni. 2nd station: Tour of Temple grounds and Atrium. 3rd station: Decorate Temple sugar cookie: 4th station: dinner. This is the 3rd year our ward has done this activity and other years they had around 40 kids so they told us to plan on 50. Yeah well we had 64 show up. Thankfully we had enough sandwiches and drinks, but sadly we ran out of chips. It was pretty awesome to have that many kids show up. We have been planning this trip for a couple of months and we did nothing but eat, sleep, and drink primary temple trip the week before. I feel like it went well and have plans for next year. Then Saturday my secretary in primary and her husband and baby boy were able to go through the temple and be sealed. That was such an amazing event to be at. I have been to a few sealings and a lot of weddings in the temple, but this one will always stand out in my memory. The spirit was so tangible. I will never question the importance of families after that. So amazing. Ben and I have had some awesome and amazing opportunities since we have moved to Las Vegas.
We were sad though. Ben's stepsister Rose got married Saturday and due to everything going on down here and money we weren't able to make it, but we wish her and Tommy a happy life together.
I have always had a love for the temple and have loved to go. I am thankful that we have a temple so close. We are truly blessed.
