I thought I would update everyone on my dad's status. He was doing so well for a couple of weeks, he was able to drive and work in the yard. They were suppose to come down the first week in June to see us and our house and my dad got sick so they ended up staying home. He got really sick just this last Friday and couldn't seem to get feeling better. I called up there on Father's Day to wish him a happy one and he was to weak to talk. Scared me really bad. Sunday night my mom took him to University of Utah Hospital where he was admitted and they started doing blood work. It was determined sometime late last night and early this morning that his gallbladder was bad and needed to be taken out. He was moved to ICU @ 2 this morning to wait for his blood to thicken and keep a close eye on him until surgery. The gallbladder is right behind the heart pump they put in in April so it was going to
prove to be a bit more difficult surgery. When they got in there they saw that things weren't healing with the pump as they wanted so they did a little repair work there and got the gallbladder out. They have had to leave the incision open so they can go back in tomorrow to make sure everything is healing right. It has been so hard to be in
Las Vegas today. My heart and head have been with my dad and mom in Salt Lake. I just got a call from my mom that they have to take my dad back in tonight. He is bleeding internally and they can't get his blood to clot like it is supposed to. Please say a special prayer for my dad and my family tonight.

I'm sorry to hear that! I think about you guys a lot. I hope (and pray) that things will get better.
On another note...I love the pics of your house. Looks so nice! I love the trip to the park and the hiking. Looks like the kids loved it too!
Again, your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We hope to hear better news about your dad soon.
