Dad

I thought I would do a little update on my dad. He has been in an induced coma since he got out of his first surgery Monday afternoon. What was supposed to be an easy go in and take out surgery has been anything but. My dad so far has been in surgery 4 times, he will go in one more time this week and then again in 6 weeks. It is hard to have my dad so sick, I wish that I could take his illnesses away for him. We thought Monday night he wasn't going to make it and it was really scary. I know I am not ready to say goodbye, I know it won't be forever, but my dad is still young. I have not been able to be there with my family and it has been hard. I am excited because I am heading home Monday for 7 or 8 days. My dad is still in SICU and has not fully come out of the anesthetics yet. Hopefully by Monday he will be out of ICU.
